Music:
The role of the musicians is to serve the assembly, seek to enhance the
prayer of the assembly, and to help and encourage active participation.
Cantor:
The cantor leads the music at a particular liturgy or sings certain
parts of the liturgy with the support of the choir. The cantor is
a leader of assembly prayer.
Choirs:
The contemporary choir sings at 8:00 a.m. Sunday Mass.
The assembly is led by the cantor the
first two Sundays of the month at 11:00 a.m. Mass. Choir people
are invited to join the cantor.
The Tri-Parish Youth Group:
This group is a contemporary group consisting of members from the
Tri-Parish Youth Group. The group includes vocal and instrumental
musicians. They rotate Sundays in the three parishes, leading the
music once a month.
